Your Opportunity:The primary responsibility of the Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) is to provide comprehensive direct patient care as a central member of the Pediatric Gynecology & Urology Service. The ANP will be responsible for collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to manage the care of patients in both an inpatient and outpatient setting. The ANP will manage Independent and joint clinics, with a primary focus and key responsibilities to the service. The ANP is authorized and competent to perform comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, intervention, management, referral, and evaluation of patient care across the continuum of health care services. The ANP participates in interdisciplinary collaboration in the practice setting to ensure current, evidence based, holistic care is provided. The ANP provides leadership and actively participates in program development, evaluation, research and clinical teaching activities to encompass all domains of practice – clinical, education, research and leadership.Description:As a Nurse Practitioner (NP), you will provide a full range of comprehensive health services to individuals across their lifespan. You will be responsible for integrating clinical skills associated with nursing and medicine to assess, diagnose, order, and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe treatment, and perform procedures to manage and meet the health needs of patients. Additionally, you will utilize advanced practice nursing competencies related to Clinical Practice, Leadership and Optimizing Health Systems, Education, and Research to increase care quality, promote appropriate use of health services, and inform and influence healthcare systems. Required Qualifications:Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program and a minimum of master’s degree. Registration with CRNA on the Nurse Practitioner Registrar including Provisional Graduate Nurse Practitioner licensure. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). Additional Required Qualifications:Experience in Pediatric acute and/or ambulatory care setting-minimum 5 years’ related experience required. Strong understanding of patient flow. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage conflict.
