Location: Enfield – SouthgateSalary: £90 – £100Job type: Long-term, temporary Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 8.00am -3:40pm, Thursday: 8.00am – 4.00pm, Friday: 8.00am – 2.30pmStart date: April 2025 End date: July 2025Year group: EYFS – Nursery and reception Tradewind are seeking a strong and qualified EYFS Learning support assistant to work with a child with SEN needs on a 1:1 basis on behalf of a mainstream Primary school in the borough of Enfield. The school are looking to appoint an individual with a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and with prior experience supporting children with SEN needs.About the role: Support a pupil with SEN needs on a 1:1 basisEncourage social interaction and develop child’s fine motor skillsPlan and run intervention when necessarySupport during break and lunch timesCreate stimulating learning resources to encourage academic progressHelp to set up and tidy up at the start and end of lessonsRequirements: Early reading and phonics experienceExperience working in the EYFS settingStrong subject knowledgeMust have lots of initiative and a pro-active approachThis position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checksYou must have the legal right to work in the UK About the School: 3 form entry schoolRated Outstanding by OfstedNursery and SEN provision part of school siteChild led learning approachClick ‘Apply Now’ to be considered for this position as a Teaching Assistant in Enfield.
