Working for Pembina means working safely.Overview:Pembina Pipeline Corporation’s Corporate Calgary Office is recruiting a Director, Occupational Health and Safety to join the team. This position reports to the Vice President, Safety in the External Affairs Division (EAD). The leadership of EAD works collaboratively to develop and execute long-range goals, strategies, and plans in service of Pembina’s values and strategy. In collaboration with Pembina’s Canadian and US operations, projects and service units, this role will ensure effective implementation and continuous improvement of Pembina’s Safety Program, a key focus area of Pembina’s Operations Excellence Management System (OEMS).The Director, Occupational Health and Safety is a strategic and trusted leader responsible for ensuring that Pembina’s Safety Program is effectively implemented and designed to enable all Pembina’s assets can work within Pembina’s Values, Health, Safety and Environment Policy, strategy and regulatory requirements.Pembina’s Safety Service Unit is part of the External Affairs Division, (EAD). Safety Culture – Zero by Choice, the Safety Service Unit is dedicated to delivering quality products and services by leading the enterprise-wide occupational health and safety, process safety, physical security, and emergency management programs, insurance program and Operations Management System governance. The Safety team ensures compliance with all company, federal and local government health, safety, security and emergency management regulations and requirements ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees, contractors, and communities.Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

This position is considered “Safety Sensitive” and so will require Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol Testing which includes testing for marijuana metabolites. You may also be required to provide a Driver’s Abstract.The successful candidate must live within 100 km of Calgary, AB. CA.Pembina’s Flexible Work Standard provides the option for eligible employees to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.The successful candidate must be legally able to work in the country of the position.
