Junior consulting position for those who are continuing to develop their expertise. Receives general instruction on routine work and detailed instruction on new projects or assignments.

As a member of a project team, follows standard practices and procedures to analyze situations/data and provide quality work products to deliver functional and technical solutions on applications and technology installations. Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying relevant Oracle methodologies and practices. Implements Oracle products and technology in various industries to meet customer specifications.

1-3 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Demonstrates competence in a minimum of one product or technology area. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.

Summary:

The Oracle NetSuite Professional Services US Military workforce transition and onboarding program – “SuiteVets” – prepares hired Veterans to begin an exciting and rewarding career as a Functional Consultant of our Cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) financial software package.

Hires will initially participate in a 3-4 month Enablement Program focused on building functional product knowledge, implementation experience and consulting skills through training and development. They will learn first–hand how the NetSuite offering impacts our customer’s businesses by working alongside their Program Lead and peers to gain valuable consulting experience across multiple business environments. This program is designed to hone the core values that you bring as a Veteran, and expand your skillset as a civilian.

We are seeking US Military Veterans, preferably with experience supporting an accounting, financial, supply chain or similar software solutions from a functional perspective. Following Program completion, Consultants will contribute as a member of a Delivery Practice that implements the NetSuite solution for customers. The role requires heavy interaction with customers, delivery peers, and Channel Partners.

Responsibilities include:

  • Contribute as a team member on customer projects

  • Utilize a structured project delivery methodology

  • Manage project timelines and successful completion of project deliverables and activities

  • Deliver projects with high quality and high customer satisfaction

  • Take action to identify, drive and support efficiency and optimization of processes

  • Consult with clients to understand their business requirements and mapping them to NetSuite

  • Design solutions using NetSuite functions and features

  • Identify and manage gaps in customer requirements and NetSuite functionality

  • Work and interact with customers in the configuration of their NetSuite system

  • Build successful customer relationships

  • Connect, engage, and build the broader NetSuite and Oracle community

  • Perform quality reviews of deliverables developed by other team members

  • Collaborate and communicate with Project Managers and peers to facilitate on-time and on-budget project delivery

  • Achieve or exceed customer satisfaction and billable utilization targets

  • Continue to increase product knowledge and pursue relevant certifications

Preferred Qualifications include:

  • US Military veteran recently transitioned from active duty or early-in post-military professional career

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Global Business or Economics; with a focus in Accounting, Supply Chain, Engineering (all fields) or Economics preferred, other degrees will be considered

  • Ability to guide customer based on leading practices such as pursuit and servant leadership

  • Results-oriented with an analytical approach to problem solving

  • Ability to understand new information quickly combined with the ability to adapt to many different client styles required for success in a highly collaborative environment

  • Initiative, creativity and a passion to deliver results that make a difference

  • Well-rounded individual with varied interests and experience

  • Excellent communication (verbal, written, and presentation) and interpersonal skills (outgoing and personable)

  • Thrive on working in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively

  • Effective when working independently and in team environments

  • Receptive to feedback

  • Desire to work in the technology industry with a growing company

  • Requires the ability to work onsite regularly and travel modestly as appropriate

  • ERP or NetSuite software application solution experience is a plus

  • Project leadership experience is a plus

  • Consulting, supply chain or accounting role experience is a plus

  • NetSuite product certification is a plus

  • Multi-lingual skills are a plus

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $21.15 to $54.13 per hour; from $44,000 to $112,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
