Opportunity overviewThis is an exciting new opportunity for an experienced PA/Support Officer who demonstrates high levels of initiative, with outstanding time-management and organisational skills, and identifies creative solutions.Working collaboratively, you will assist the Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor (APVC) for Learning and Teaching Enhancement in delivering the university’s learning and teaching strategic plan, contributing to our institutional priorities.Reporting to the APVC for Learning and Teaching Enhancement, you will provide high level, confidential and comprehensive PA and business administration to support LTEC, driving excellence and ensuring consistent good practice in learning, teaching and assessment that will enable our students and staff to succeed.Key responsibilities

  • Manage accurately the diary and inbox of the Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor for Learning and Teaching Enhancement and Professor of Learning and Teaching, and provide efficient, effective, professional and confidential business administration to ensure the effective running of the office.
  • Work on own initiative to meet competing demands and to resolve problems.
  • Provide general administrative support across LTEC to ensure the smooth running of key front-line activities.
  • Manage and service internal and external meetings and events and coordinate formal and informal events.
  • Deal with incoming correspondence with discretion and courtesy and produce confidential letters, reports and electronic presentations as required.
  • Manage travel arrangements as required.
