Under the recent immigration rules, this role is not eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route.Candidates are expected to demonstrate their right to work in the UK to be eligible for the post.OpportunityOpportunity overviewThis is an exciting new opportunity for an experienced PA/Support Officer who demonstrates high levels of initiative, with outstanding time-management and organisational skills, and identifies creative solutions.Working collaboratively, you will assist the Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor (APVC) for Learning and Teaching Enhancement in delivering the university’s learning and teaching strategic plan, contributing to our institutional priorities.Reporting to the APVC for Learning and Teaching Enhancement, you will provide high level, confidential and comprehensive PA and business administration to support LTEC, driving excellence and ensuring consistent good practice in learning, teaching and assessment that will enable our students and staff to succeed.Key responsibilities
A bit about our School or departmentThe Learning and Teaching Enhancement Centre is led by the Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor for Learning and Teaching Enhancement and supported by a nucleus of people with a proven track record of delivering excellence in the academic practice. LTEC provides a focal point to disseminate and embed best practice, engaging with staff across all areas of the university. We support staff to support the student’s academic journey, working with and within Academic Schools to embed changes and to enhance practice.
