Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Paralegal in the Marketing/PR industry situated in Marco Island, Florida. The selected candidate will be tasked with responsibilities revolving around legal support, document management, and administrative duties. This role is a crucial part of our team, ensuring smooth operations and effective legal assistance.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in drafting, formatting, and proofreading legal documents

• Handle e-filing of legal documents and ensure they are properly organized

• Support the team with transcription tasks and maintain accurate records of all transcriptions

• Participate in estate planning and probate administration, ensuring all procedures and documentation comply with laws and regulations

• Manage calendars and schedule meetings, court dates, and deadlines

• Utilize specialized software for e-Filing and draft legal documents

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to lawyers and enhance office effectiveness

• Handle communication with clients, witnesses etc.

• Conduct legal research and initial case assessments Requirements • Applicant must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Paralegal role within the Marketing/PR industry.

• Proficiency in Calendar Management is essential.

• Proven experience in Estate Planning is required.

• Applicant must possess strong skills in Probate and Probate & Estate Administration.

• Familiarity with e-File and e-Filing systems is necessary.

• Ability to draft legal documents effectively and accurately is crucial.

• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.

• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

• Strong knowledge of legal terminology and principles.

• The ability to analyze legal documents for accuracy.

• A bachelor’s degree in law or a related field is preferred.
