We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised individual who is keen to develop their skills and gain experience working in the heritage, environment, and youth and community sectors. This is a training and development role, designed for someone early in their career within these sectors.
What’s the role about?
The Project Assistant will support our youth focused engagement activity that enables this audience to participate in, shape and co-promote Climate FORTH. You will have day to day responsibility for the running of our Family Focused Outreach activity and provide support to the wider events programme.
This role is designed to provide training and development opportunities for someone beginning their career in these sectors and you will be well supported by the Project Officer – Community and Youth Development, and the Project Manager. There will be many opportunities to enhance existing skills and develop new areas of expertise, both within the IFF partnership and externally. However, we are mainly looking for someone with enthusiasm for this work area and the ability to lead appropriate tasks and activities.

This is a 12 month part-time role for 22.5 hours per week.
The RSPB reserves the right to extend or make this role permanent without further advertising dependent on business needs at the end of the contract term.
