JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The SNAP-Ed Healthy Bodies Project at Penn State is seeking a qualified candidate to assist with the implementation and evaluation of nutrition education programming and family health research projects. Projects are focused on promoting healthy eating and physical activity in young children and their families. Duties include, but are not limited to, delivering nutrition education to parents and caregivers of young children, delivering nutrition education activities to children and their families, assisting with gardening activities and education at preschool sites, conducting on-site evaluation efforts in classrooms with children and teachers, assisting with data entry, procuring and delivering foods.
A Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or a related field is preferred. The Project seeks a candidate who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, responsible, great with communication, creative and able to multi-task. This position may require occasional evening and weekend work.
