Partnership Intern (INT9640)

The Role:

 

Oxfam GB -Iraq Program is looking for Partnership Interns who will lead on liaison and coordination with the different organizations we work with, and actively support transformative partnerships and local humanitarian leadership agenda to be stronger and visible in Iraq. The person will be responsible for effective communications, coordination with partners, coordination with field offices and different departments of Oxfam (e.g. MEAL, Finance, HR etc.), and coordination of capacity strengthening and exchange processes in different projects.

An ideal candidate for the role will also be / have:

  • Fresh graduate, maximum One year or less of Experience
  • Ability to work effectively with others, adaptable and flexible.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work sensitively with people from various cultural and social backgrounds.
  • Computer literacy, particularly in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to improve planning, coordination, and reporting skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English, and Arabic/Kurdish, both written and spoken
  • Commitment to Oxfam values
