UNOPS Brazil is responsible for managing the strategic and operational risks associated with the project portfolio in the country, developing and providing economic services that contribute to sustainable results for partners and for UNOPS’ management results.
In Brazil, UNOPS supports infrastructure (health, rule of law, urban planning, education), health service procurement, public-private partnerships, logistics for Brazilian humanitarian aid, social development and human resources for UN sister agencies.
UNOPS Brazil is an integral part of the Argentina Multicountry Office and the regional management structure for Latin America and the Caribbean.
As part of its activities in Brazil, UNOPS regularly assembles teams to support partners in designing and implementing a diverse and challenging portfolio of projects.
Under the overall guidance and direct supervision of the Multi Country / Country Director or Partnership Group Director, and in close coordination with the Regional Office and the Partnerships Group, the Partnerships Development Manager ( Oficial ) is responsible for developing and implementing the partnership and programme development plan for the offices and countries managed by the Multi Country / Country Director or the HQ Partnerships Group.

Impact of results
The effective and successful achievement of results by the Partnerships Development Manager (Oficial) impacts on the performance of the Multi Country / Country Office or the Partnership Group by maintaining a robust and diverse pipeline of project opportunities, which leads to sustainable growth of the UNOPS’ presence and strengthens the achievements of UNOPS management results and the fulfilment of its mandate.
