Starting in September, this role is perfect for an empathetic and proactive individual who can provide exceptional pastoral care and support to students.Key Responsibilities:Student Support: As a Pastoral Manager, provide comprehensive support to students, addressing their emotional, social, and academic needs to ensure their well-being and success.
Safeguarding: Maintain a strong focus on safeguarding, ensuring all students feel safe and secure within the school environment.
Behavior Management: Develop and implement effective behavior management strategies, promoting positive behavior and addressing any issues promptly and effectively.
Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support students’ holistic development and well-being.
Mentorship: Mentor and guide students, helping them to overcome challenges and develop resilience and self-confidence.
Attendance Monitoring: Monitor and promote good attendance and punctuality, implementing interventions where necessary to support students in maintaining regular school attendance.
Pastoral Programs: Develop and lead pastoral programs and initiatives that promote students’ personal development, social skills, and emotional well-being.What We’re Looking For:Experience in Pastoral Care: Proven experience in a pastoral or support role within an educational setting.
Strong Communicator: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Empathy and Understanding: A compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting students’ emotional and social needs.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
