Pastoral Mentor – Secondary School – HounslowClarus Education is working in partnership with the Deputy Head of a successful mixed-comprehensive Secondary School in West London. We are searching for an intelligent, proactive & hardworking graduate to fill a full full-time, Pastoral Mentor role this September.This Pastoral Mentor role will see you join a large inclusion team whose aim is to best support the academic & social needs of all pupils. You will be tasked with providing tailored support to children who are deemed ‘at risk’, those with additional learning needs, EAL (English as an additional language), and those who struggle with their behaviour. Pastoral Mentors are required to provide support both in and out of the classroom, as well as help with lunch/ after school clubs.This Pastoral Mentor role is ideal for an academic graduate who has a passion for ensuring that education is inclusive for all. It’s a great stepping stone for a Psychology graduate who is eager to gain classroom experience supporting children of varying abilities before pursuing a Masters / PhD in Clinical or Educational Psychology. The Pastoral Mentor role is also a brilliant opportunity for any graduate who is considering getting into secondary teaching.We are keen to meet with candidates who have existing child-related experience and are able to hit the ground running this September. - Supporting vulnerable children across KS3, 4 & 5
- Providing tailored care to pupils with SEN, SEMH, EAL
- Running 1:1 & small group interventions

- Full time, long-term, term time only
- £85 – £100 per day
