Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy: the intern will support development of a GTM strategy for a social enterprise in Kenya manufacturing portable, solar-powered, temperature-regulated vaccine carriers to expand into new non-public health markets such as pharmacies, private hospitals, and veterinary services.

Key Responsibilities:

GTM Strategy for Vaccine Carriers

  • Conduct desk research on demand for cold chain equipment in Kenya’s non-public health sector.
  • Review available reports, market research, and government/association publications to identify target markets, customer needs, and distribution channels.
  • Draft insights on market segmentation, product positioning, and marketing tactics.
  • Identify and compile a list of key informants and potential partners in Kenya (e.g., regulatory bodies, pharmacy chains, veterinary networks).
  • Assist PATH Strategy team in guiding a market research agency on research design, data collection, and analysis.
  • Contribute to the development of a draft Go-to-Market strategy.

Miscellaneous Activities (Strategy & Partnerships)

  • Provide research and writing support for strategy and partnership initiatives.
  • Assist in proposal development including background research, drafting, and formatting.
  • Support stakeholder engagement efforts, including documentation, presentations, and outreach coordination.
  • Contribute to knowledge management and internal documentation for ongoing projects.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s student or very recent graduate in Public Health, Business, Economics, Health Policy, or related fields.
  • Strong research and analytical skills; ability to synthesize large volumes of information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interest in global health, health systems, market dynamics, and health policy.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate with cross-country teams.

Work Location: New Delhi

Duration: Three months, full-time internship
Must have legal authorization to work in India.
