We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Patient Care Coordinator position in our suite located in Ontario, Canada. This role revolves around the healthcare industry, specifically in patient coordination and customer service. The workplace is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will be expected to provide top-notch customer service and maintain effective communication.Responsibilities:

• Engage in active communication with patients to connect them with the appropriate specialists
• Ensure a welcoming environment for patients and respond to any inquiries within the office
• Coordinate and schedule patient appointments effectively
• Responsible for obtaining and maintaining up-to-date patient information
• Assist other staff members as needed to ensure a smooth workflow
• Maintain and update patient records in both electronic and paper formats
• Ensure customer satisfaction through efficient and courteous service
• Contribute to making patients feel welcomed and comfortable
• Oversee the coordination of patient appointments and schedules
• Handle general inquiries within the office efficiently and professionally
• Applicant must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a patient care coordinator role or similar position
• Demonstrable skills in customer service are essential
• Strong communication skills are required for effective interaction with patients, healthcare professionals, and team members
• Proven track record in achieving high levels of customer satisfaction
• Familiarity with healthcare systems and patient care procedures will be beneficial
• Ability to handle patient information confidentially
• Applicants should be capable of multitasking and working in a fast-paced environment
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure are needed
• Applicants should have a basic understanding of medical terminology
• Proficiency in using healthcare software and computer systems is desirable.
