Northumberland Wildlife Trust is looking for a confident, innovative and enthusiastic person to
join our Conservation Team as Peatland Programme Manager.

The Manager will be involved with the operations and management of an established Peatland Team
and funded/contracted projects that are being delivered. They will also develop new projects
through a mixture of public and private resources to achieve peatland restoration and take the
lead in developing the Northumberland Peat Partnership and working with partners. The ability
to work out on sites in remote areas alongside the team is an important part of the role.

The aim of the Northumberland Peat Partnership is to develop a peatland restoration programme
across the partnership area, which is all of Northumberland north of the A69. The partnership
comprises of NGOs, local authorities and statutory agencies as well as land managers. Its aim
is to collectively facilitate positive management and restoration of peatland habitats across
Northumberland.

The role is for 35 hours per week on a permanent contract.

The salary range is £30,790 to £36,228 per annum.
