Are you passionate about restoring Wales’s iconic upland landscapes? This is an exciting opportunity to join an established, award-winning team at the forefront of peatland restoration.
We are looking for a collaborative and dedicated individual to help us restore habitats at scale across Mid and North Wales. Whether you are an experienced practitioner or looking to progress your career in conservation, you will work alongside experience colleagues to protect our uplands for the benefit of wildlife, climate, and local communities.
Our programme has grown from our success at Lake Vyrnwy, and we are currently working across a diverse portfolio of 13 sites. With ongoing investment, you will help us expand this work, delivering landscape-scale restoration that sets the standard for conservation in Wales.
This role is funded by the National Peatland Action Programme to lead peatland restoration at our Gwenffrwd-Dinas and Carnfach reserves. Working as part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team, you will turn restoration plans into reality.
We are looking for someone who understands the Welsh upland landscape and enjoys working with others to achieve environmental goals. The role will require travel across Mid and North Wales.
