Organizational Objective Provide musical support to UMW Eagle Athletes and fans community at home games, while also giving a student musicians experience in leadership of a paid ensemble.
General Description of Position The assistant director will aid the director in overseeing rehearsal and leading the ensemble in performances at home games. His/her job is to collaborate with and carry out the instructions of the director. Services will average 2-3 hours and consist of up to 22 performances/rehearsals an academic year.
Required Experience Some sort of previous band or choir experience.
Rate of Pay $16.50/hr

Preferred Experience Experience directing an ensemble (for example Drum Major)
