Place Abstract: 

The Hitstotechnologist prepares and processes tissue specimens for microscopic examination by the Pathologist.  Incumbent will gather, settle for and acknowledge specimens as they arrive within the lab, help within the collection of applicable fixatives, embed and minimize sections, stain and mount on a slide of surgical, neurological, bone marrow, and post-mortem tissue sections in order that the presence or absence of illness could also be successfully demonstrated to the Pathologist.   Will put together options and carry out particular stain methods.  Performs duties within the frozen part space as wanted.  Maintains laboratory stock and gear, and retains High quality Management information of labor carried out.
