What will your typical day look like?In this interesting and diverse role, you will:

  • Maintain the test lab including the performance tools and the performance environment.
  • Report performance testing defects and non-compliance to requirements.
  • Design, develop, and maintain testing hardware assets.
  • Examine alternative methods and tools as technology changes.
  • Develop and implement production performance monitoring and alerting.
  • Provide insights and recommendations on performance for specific applications and our global architecture.
  • Build tools and simulators to identify (and help others identify) performance bottlenecks at the micro-level.
  • Partner with our application development to design & implement performance improvements.
  • Practice and enforce Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Model and analyze user loads to drive system architecture and design direction.
  • Embrace, own, and model the DevOps culture and behaviors.
  • Create clear presentations and communication to stakeholders that highlight the impact of the issues and solutions to performance related issues. Communicate the state of performance to prioritize technical debt & improvements on technology team roadmaps.

  • 3+ years of experience utilizing HP Load Runner, HTTP viewer and debugger, Fiddler, Selenium, iMacros, C#, and Java.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in performance diagnostics and analysis, capacity planning, and architecting for performance.
  • Knowledge of solution architecture technologies and processes.

Preferred

  • Experience providing recommendations and solutions including basic linear trending.
  • Good understanding of infrastructure architectural principles.

Total RewardsThe salary range for this position is $58,000 – $96,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
