About the role

We are looking for a talented and motivated individual to join our small, friendly professional services, administration team supporting the Department of Respiratory Sciences.

The post holder will provide secretarial and administrative support for the Head of Department and deputy, as well as senior management and other academics where appropriate. For a detailed over view of the roles and responsibilities, please see the job summary form accompanying this advert.

About you

You will have previous experience of working in a comparable role and setting. With excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills you will have a professional approach to work. The ability to work independently (with appropriate guidance and supervision) and as part of the team is required. You will have good time management skills and be highly organised, as you will be liaising with lots of different people and co-ordinating a large variety of activities at once. A willingness to learn and adapt to new processes while constantly looking for opportunities to improve the service we deliver is essential.
