You will play part in a small team of Plant hire desk operatives and will contribute to the smooth running and accurate booking of vehicle hires within SSE’s external supplier database.Your Key Responsibilities are:– To engage as a key member of the Plant hire desk team ensuring all email inboxes are monitored and maintained and phone lines are answered, delivering a customer focussed service to internal and external stakeholders, suppliers and / or customers.– The ability to juggle priorities in-line with team workloads and remain focussed and productive.– Dealing with reactive, short-notice hire requests in a calm positive manner.What do I need?To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:– Working knowledge of various Microsoft packages including Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.– Excellent communication skills, with the ability to target appropriate audiences at all levels.– Previous Plant/fleet/transport working would advantageous but not essential for this role.– High attention to detail, accuracy of processing orders/bookings and data.– Great customer service skills.About our BusinessAt SSE, we own more than 500 property assets and several thousand land assets, which are located across the length and breadth of the UK and Ireland.
