We are excited to announce a PhD studentship focused on developing cutting-edge printable photodetectors to revolutionize a wide range of sensing applications for higher quality of life and sustainable development.Key Application Requirements:
- Bachelor’s and Master’s in Sustainable Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Engineering Science, Mechatronics Systems Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Nanotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or cognate disciplines.
- Demonstrated expertise in optoelectronic device fabrication and characterization, as well as materials deposition and characterization.
- Demonstrated academic excellence with a cumulative grade point average of 80% or higher in all prior degrees.
- Demonstrated excellent command of the English language.
- Compliance with all Simon Fraser University
for graduate studies. * Eligibility for a study permit for Canada if you are not a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada.
- Availability to start the PhD program in September 2025.
