The school is committed to fostering the holistic development of students, encouraging them to explore and deepen their understanding of physical fitness and sportsmanship.Role: Physical Education TeacherAs a Physical Education Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that inspire and engage students in their study of physical activity. You will support students in developing a well-rounded understanding of physical fitness, sports, and teamwork. Your role will include:

• Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and meaningful Physical Education lessons to students of various age groups (KS3, KS4, and KS5).
• Encouraging students to apply physical skills and teamwork in various sporting activities.
• Supporting students in their physical development, providing guidance and encouragement when needed.
• Collaborating with other members of staff to ensure a holistic approach to education.
• Contributing to the development of the Physical Education curriculum.
• Participating in the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Physical Education.
• Ensuring the effective delivery of the Physical Education syllabus.
• Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment within the Physical Education department.

Key Qualities We Are Looking For:

• A strong passion for Physical Education and a desire to support students’ physical development.
• A recognised teaching qualification in Physical Education, or equivalent.
• Experience in teaching PE to secondary-aged students is highly desirable.
• A passion for developing young people physically and mentally.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of an encouraging and vibrant team.
