We are seeking a Physics teacher to join an academic school in Brent, starting in September. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining effective classroom management, fostering a positive learning environment, and collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement the school’s curriculum.Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and informative Physics lessons to students.
- Plan and prepare lesson materials and resources.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students.
- Assess and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Support the academic and personal development of individual students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievements, and behaviour.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physics or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching Physics at the secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for educating young learners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage a diverse classroom.
- Commitment to continual professional development and staying updated with the latest educational practices.
- Knowledge of the UK national curriculum and assessments.
