JOB SUMMARY

Job Profile Summary

The Pipeline Integrity Associate is responsible for supporting/assisting with the maintenance and implementation of the ONEOK Integrity Management Programs (IMP) with direction from experienced team members.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Assists with and collaborates on processes and projects that ensure all internal integrity goals and external compliance expectations are met

  • Reviews and increases knowledge of the regulations and internal guidance documents including 49 CFR 192/195, the Integrity Management Plan, processes and procedures related to pipeline integrity work and industry standards and their applications

  • During collaborative project experience, increases and utilizes knowledge, and training to become proficient in the requirements and regulations related to pipeline integrity

  • Under the direction/advisement of an experienced team member/mentor and/or supervisor:

  • Assists with the execution of integrity assessment and remediation projects including management of budgets and scheduling of field crews

  • Gains understanding of regulatory requirements and organizational procedures and tools

  • Enters and updates appropriate databases with information collected during assessment and remediation activities

  • Gains knowledge and builds proficiency with internal programs inclusive of the integrity data management databases and reporting tools

  • Completes data integration as part of the data processes

  • Works towards understanding risk model and HCA processes

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or a combination of formal education and/or the following job related experience:

Work Experience

  • Experience and/or training related to: preferred

  • Pipeline Integrity

  • GIS

  • Statistics

  • Database development

  • Audits (Internal & Regulatory)

  • Experience in use and function of office equipment such as computers and applicable software

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of: 49 CFR Part 195 for liquids or 49 CFR Part 192 for natural gas preferred

  • Knowledge of: pipeline integrity assessment and remediation preferred

  • Knowledge of: pipeline systems preferred

  • Knowledge of: pipeline risk principles preferred

  • Ability to: apply math and algebraic formulas

Expected Salary Range

$70,000.00 – $104,000.00
