The Planning Assistant provides technical and professional support to the Rezoning Centre, with a focus on supporting the processing of rezoning applications and related functions, as well as contributing to a variety of rezoning and policy initiatives. The emphasis is on collecting and analyzing information, developing information graphics to communicate complex ideas, and assisting with public consultation and public hearings.Specific Duties and Responsibilities

Where operationally appropriate and subject to change, the City of Vancouver has a Flexible Work Program. This program allows staff to work remotely 1 – 4 days a week from locations that are a daily commutable distance from their work at a City worksite.
