What you’ll do:

• To offer skilled recommendation on biodiversity helping within the fulfilment of Powys County
  Council’s authorized obligations referring to biodiversity.
• To offer skilled recommendation / coaching on biodiversity issues to Planning Officers,
  Planning Brokers /Candidates, Councillors and the Planning, Taxi Licensing and Rights of Approach
  Committee.
• To undertake when applicable, EIA screening and provides EIA scoping opinions formally on
  behalf of the authority.
• To undertake biodiversity assessments related to the planning course of, together with HRA
  assessments.
• To stay updated with all related laws, applicable steering, nationwide
  requirements, insurance policies and different good observe.
• To take the lead in sustaining shut working hyperlinks with Pure Sources Wales and different
  biodiversity organisations.
