The specialist will join us in an independent locum position on a fee-for-service basis in a community based Plastic Surgery practice with a possibility of the position becoming permanent. The successful candidate will join the Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic Surgery in Regina, Saskatchewan, covering on call duties, operating room time and clinic duties.Plastic Surgery services are are based at the Pasqua Hospital, a community-based hospital and referral centre specializing in Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Plastic Surgery, General Surgery and Urology.Specialists maintain a fee-for-service, independent practice within Regina. Call coverage is shared with a very patient-centered and cooperative call group within the specialty and an on-call premium is provided for on-call availability.The (SHA) is the largest organization in Saskatchewan, employing over 44,000 employees and physicians responsible for the delivery of high quality and timely health care for the entire province. We are driven by the commitment to improve front line patient care for Saskatchewan people, and we are working together to better coordinate health services across the province to ensure that patients receive high quality, timely health care, wherever they live in Saskatchewan.Physicians may have the opportunity to teach undergraduate and post-graduate education at the University of Saskatchewan (USask).
