EGEC is currently looking for a full-time policy intern (38h/ week), who is able to work starting from October 2024, for a period of six months with a traineeship contract under Belgian law (“convention immersion professionnelle”) with possibilities for a long-term contract after the traineeship period.

EGEC is looking for a young, eager and organised Policy Intern to join our small team in Brussels.

Geothermal is one of the fastest-growing renewable energy solutions. You’ll be focused on writing position papers and briefing notes; advocacy activities; participate in events and meetings; and support EU-funded research.

If you have a near native-level grasp of written English, the ability to organise yourself and the maturity to be an effective team player do get in touch with us.

We are interested in people who have about 12 months postgraduate experience in energy, climate or EU affairs although we also welcome applicants seeking to enter renewable energy and climate fields for the first time.
