The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is recruiting for a post-doctoral research fellow. The post-doctoral research fellow is responsible for performing research projects in basic and translational breast cancer research in an in-person laboratory setting under the instructions. Essential Functions: * Perform research activities such as: Western blot assays, ELISA assays, cell viability assays, cell migration and invasion assays, DNA transfection, cancer cell cultures, and mouse studies etc. * Present posters at the research meetings. * Perform other related routine laboratory shared duties as assigned. Qualifications: * *Education: Ph.D. or M.D. degree in biomedical science is required. Preferred Experience: Research experience with western blot assay, cancer research, human cell culture are required. Experience in ELISA assay, cell viability/migration, invasion assays, and mouse tumor study is considered a strength. HIRING RANGE: Commensurate with education and research experience.
