postdoctoral fellow in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah

The Venosa Laboratory (https://pharmacy.utah.edu/pharmtox/faculty/current-faculty/alessandro-venosa.php) is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to join our laboratorys NIEHS funded efforts to study the interplay between resident and infiltrating immune cells in the pathogenesis, progression and resolution of lung inflammation in the healthy and functionally impaired lung. As the main platform to study susceptibility, our group adopts a murine model of inflammatory exacerbations of pulmonary fibrosis triggered by aberrant expression of a clinically relevant mutant of the surfactant protein C gene (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/myncbi/alessandro.venosa.2/bibliography/public/).
