Location: The Francis Crick Institute, Midland Road, LondonShort summaryWe are seeking a highly motivated candidate to lead a project exploring how internal state changes influence neuronal and circuit-level information processing in brain-wide networks underlying instinctive behaviours. You will use advanced optical and electrophysiological recordings in behaving mice to investigate how reproductive state shapes information processing in genetically identified neurons and circuits. This multidisciplinary project will benefit from close collaboration with leading systems neuroscience groups at the Crick, offering a dynamic and supportive research environment.If you have a PhD in Neuroscience or a related field, this may be a perfect opportunity for you to join the Kohl lab.Our team currently includes three postdocs, four PhD students, three research scientists, and one MSc student.
