About the RoleA fully funded Postdoctoral Research Assistant position is available to join a team led by Prof Susana Godinho to study how amplified centrosomes, often seen in human tumours, impact cancer evolution. This computational project will be performed in close collaboration with Prof Nicholas McGranahan (UCL Cancer), who is an expert in tumour evolution. Significant research experience in bioinformatics, genomic data analyses and computation biology is essential. Fluency in one or more computational language (e.g. R, Python) is essential. The post holder most be organised, have good communication and interpersonal skills and enjoy being part of collaborative projects. They will need to manage their time, performance and be able to solve complex problems.About the InstituteThe Barts Cancer Institute (BCI) is a Cancer Research UK Centre of Excellence whose work aims to transform the lives of those with and at risk of cancer through innovative research in the laboratory, in patients and in populations.
