Sir William Dunn School of Pathology, South Parks Road, OxfordTHIS IS A RE-ADVERTISEMENT – PREVIOUS APPLICANTS NEED NOT APPLYA postdoctoral position is available in Prof. Ivan Ahel’s group at the Sir William Dunn School of Pathology, University of Oxford to study the roles of ADP-ribosylation and/or ubiquitylation signalling in DNA damage and/or nucleic acid immunity responses (Suskiewicz et al, Nature, 2020; Dukic et al, Science Advances, 2023; Kar et al, EMBO J, 2024; Wondisford et al, Nature Struct Mol Biol, 2024).The post-holder will be responsible for managing own academic research, adapting existing and developing new scientific techniques and experimental protocols. You will work with limited supervision to design and accurately execute experiments to achieve the goals of the project.Applicants should hold, or be close to completion of, PhD/DPhil in Biology or a related subject. You should have a high level of competence in cell biology and relevant experience demonstrated by first author publications in high-profile journals.
