Job Description:UE07: £39,347 to £46,974CMVM / Human Genetics UnitFull time: 35 hours per weekFixed term: 3 yearsA postdoctoral researcher is sought for a three-year post in the lab of Prof. Andrew Jackson FRS, to investigate the cellular basis of human genome stability disorders. The purpose of this post is to understand the cellular basis of human genome stability disorders. The successful applicant will investigate how and where endogenous Topoisomerase 1-mediated DNA damage occurs and causes mutagenesis. As well, there will be the opportunity to investigate the downstream consequences and modulators for innate immune activation and clearance of damaged DNA.The Opportunity:A postdoctoral researcher is sought for a three-year post in the lab of Prof. Andrew Jackson FRS, to investigate the cellular basis of human genome stability disorders. The research group is internationally diverse and strongly competitive with 12 papers published in Cell and Nature journals in the last 10 years.This post is full-time (35 hours per week); however, we are open to considering flexible working patterns.
