More information about working at the School can be found on our .About the RoleWe are looking for a talented postdoctoral researcher to join the Oxford Martin Programme on Net Zero Policy and Regulation. This is an exciting role at the centre of a critical new research endeavour.Reporting to the Programme’s Principle Investigators ( and ), the Postdoctoral Research Fellow’s primary role will be to carry out original, world-class academic research, both independently and in collaboration with the Programme research team. This includes leading the programme’s work on net zero governance systems.You will also be responsible for contributing new ideas for new research projects, developing these ideas for generating research income and providing guidance to junior members of the research group; including research assistants, PhD students, and/or project volunteers.About YouYou will have strong subject area knowledge of governance systems and a capacity for bold and innovative research.You will hold, or be close to completion of, a PhD/DPhil in a field relevant to the programme. along with the ability to contribute ideas for new research projects and manage own academic research and associated activities.Previous experience of contributing to publications/presentations along with excellent communication skills, including abilities to write for publication, present research proposals and results, are also essential.Application ProcessYou will be required to upload a , one sole-authored writing sample (max. 20 pages) and the details of two referees as part of your online application.The closing date for applications is 12 noon (UK time) on 14 June 2024.
