SCR is a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment with state-of-the-art research and computing facilities. We work on applied research projects in the physical sciences to meet the current and future challenges of the industry.Job Summary:To accelerate SLB’s growth in the Energy Transition technology space, we are seeking a driven and creative post-doctoral scientist to join our Materials and Interfaces research programme (part of the Materials and Energy Systems Department. The vision of this program is to play a leading role in driving innovation for our company by addressing materials challenges relating to CO2 capture processes, both from industrial emission point sources as well as directly from the atmosphere.Passion for science, teamwork and the desire to succeed are the core of our programme. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for characterization, testing and development of novel materials and components for CO2 capture. These include novel membranes and adsorbents. Reporting into programme, you will help define research directions as well as conducting and reporting on your research, developing intellectual property and novel products and processes.Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
