About us The Bartlett School of Environment, Energy and Resources (BSEER) delivers world-leading teaching, research and policy support on the challenges of climate change and energy security. Located within the Bartlett faculty the school is comprised of four institutes: the UCL Energy Institute, Institute for Environmental Design and Engineering, Institute for Sustainable Heritage, and Institute for Sustainable Resources. Please see http://www.bartlett.ucl.ac.uk/bseer for further information.About the role You will work under the direction of the BSEER PhD Programmes Manager and in conjunction with the Departmental Deputy Director of Education (PGR) and Institute Departmental Graduate Tutors (Research) (DGRTI) and closely with key academic staff throughout BSEER including Institute Doctoral Programme Tutors, PhD supervisors and the managers of BSEER’s Centres for Doctoral Training.You will provide specialist administration to designated postgraduate research (PGR) degree programmes, ensuring effective procedures are adopted and documented for dealing with all aspects of the administration. You will deliver effective administrative support for all matters relating to the education activities of postgraduate research students from enquiry and admissions through the duration of their PhD to completion and graduation. As the post holder, you will support a wide range of processes including enquiries and admissions, organising examinations, payment of fees and stipends, engagement monitoring and maintaining comprehensive student records for approximately 130 PhD students.
