Description We are offering a contract for a permanent employment opportunity for a Power BI Developer in New York. In this role, your primary function will be to oversee both the administrative and developmental aspects of Power BI within our industry.
Responsibilities:
• Design and build impactful user-centered dashboards and reports, aligning them with our business needs.
• Manage Power BI workspaces, dataflows, and datasets, ensuring their efficient operation and maintenance.
• Oversee and optimize Power BI Premium and Fabric capacities for efficient utilization, including planning, scaling, and migration.
• Maintain the security, compliance, and governance of the Power BI/Fabric environment.
• Identify and resolve performance and connectivity issues within Power BI/Fabric.
• Lead the migration process of Power BI capacity to Microsoft Fabric capacity, including planning, execution, and post-migration validation.
• Collaborate with various teams to integrate data from multiple sources into Power BI/Fabric for centralized reporting.
• Develop and preserve reusable data pipelines and datasets.
• Proactively identify opportunities for improvements and automation within the BI ecosystem and implement best practices.
• Keep abreast with the latest Power BI and Fabric features.
• Act as a subject matter expert and provide training and mentorship to team members on Power BI/Fabric. Requirements • Demonstrable expertise in Reporting and Planning
• Compliance knowledge and experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration
• Proven skills in Design and Project Management
• Strong knowledge of Security protocols
• Ability to Troubleshoot and provide solutions
• Proficiency in Automation techniques
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Experience in Optimization processes and Agile Scrum methodology
• Ability to effectively liaise with Stakeholders
• Experience in Integration and Collaboration within diverse teams
• Knowledge of Best Practices in Power BI development
• Demonstrable experience in Process Improvement
• Proficiency in Component Selection during project phases
• Experience in Migration projects and REST API utilization
• Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Azure
• Ability to Create Dashboards as per business requirements
• Experience in creating Business Requirement Documents
• Demonstrates a culture of Innovation and creative problem-solving
