The incumbent of this post is responsible to the Senior Staff Nurse in the Health Centre he/she is assigned to.
Responsibilities
The incumbent: 1- Performs nursing activities required for child health, school health, Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS), screening (Gender-Based Violence (GBV), disability,…etc.), dental care assistance, non-communicable disease (NCD) services including follow up defaulters, assist specialist room, perform services in treatment room, triage services and health education activities according to the family health team approach; and according to the program’s technical instructions; 2- Conducts home-visits for high-risk cases (growth retarded, anemic, defaulters, bedridden/disabled patients, un-controlled NCD patients …. etc.); where applicable 3- Keeps adequate recording of received and used supplies needed for the nursing activities in her/his assigned working station; 4- Maintains a high standard of infection control to ensure safety of staff and clients; 5- Complies with all relevant safety and healthy occupational environment, to ensure a healthy and safe work environment; 6- Provides services through the electronic medical records system, including data entry and proper recording; and participates and facilitates in the training activities and on the job training; 7- Performs other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Education
.Academic and Professional qualifications: 1- Successful Completion of secondary school; 2- Two-year diploma from an accredited educational institution in nursing. Professional qualifications: * Possession of license to practice nursing services (where applicable).

Work Experience

Languages
Good command of written and spoken Arabic and English.

Type of Contract: Fixed Term Appointment Contract Type: Daily Paid contract. Other benefits: Other benefits include monthly Provident Fund contribution (15.4% of basic salary paid by the Agency), compulsory medical insurance, 30 days of annual leave, and dependency allowance (if applicable).
