Prospero Teaching is looking for a passionate, proactive and enthusiastic Class Teacher to lessons in an inspirational Primary Schools in Ashington from January on a full-time and long-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to build positive relationships with pupils and have a long-term, positive impact on their lives, progress and development.About the Role:

• The role will involve planning and teaching engaging and informative lessons for pupils in that inspire pupils and allows all pupils to make progress regardless of their ability levels.
• Stretching and challenging the learning and progress all pupils
• Building positive relationships with pupils and Teaching Assistants to create excellent learning environments.
• Managing challenging behaviour in a positive, proactive and consistent manner.
• Differentiating lessons appropriately to suit the needs and earning styles of all pupils.
• Using varied methods of assessment to assess pupil progress Displaying high levels of enthusiasm, energy and positivity when working with children.
• Working effectively with Teaching Assistants to ensure children receive the best possible educational experience

Pay, Hours and Contract:

• Pay – Between £130-180 per day
• Hours – 08.30-16.00
• Contract – Full-time until the end of the Academic Year in July 2025.
• Start Date – January
• Location – Ashington

About the School:The role is based in an inspirational Primary School in Ashington. There is an opportunity for the role to be based across any age group from EYFS to Year 6 depending on the experience, specialism and preference of the successful Candidate. The School has an outstanding supportive culture and Leadership Team, where staff work as a Team within classrooms to provide high standards of support to pupils.Experience/Qualifications and Requirements:

• An Enhanced DBS (ideally on the Update Service but this is not essential as we can process a new one for you)
• QTS and Primary School Teaching experience within the UK.
• Experience of short, medium and long-term planning
• Experience of utilising a range of methods to assess pupil progress
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Strong relationship-building skills with an ability to build rapport
• A positive and resilient attitude towards Teaching
• Experience of Teaching within the UKA genuine passion for Teaching
• Strong organisation and communication skills
