Primary School Teacher – Key Stage 1 (Maternity Cover)
Location: Blackheath SE3
September StartReeson Education is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a passionate Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a prestigious prep school in Blackheath SE3 on a maternity cover basis. This full-time role, starting in September, is ideal for an experienced teacher eager to make a positive impact on young learners in a supportive and dynamic educational environment.Primary School Teacher Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching Excellence: Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire Key Stage 1 students, ensuring each child achieves their full potential.
• Curriculum Development: Create and implement a comprehensive curriculum that meets the academic and developmental needs of all students.
• Student Assessment: Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching strategies to individual learning needs.
• Classroom Management: Maintain an organised and disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Parental Engagement: Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on student progress and addressing any concerns.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the school.

Primary School Teacher Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Must hold QTS and have relevant teaching qualifications.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience teaching Key Stage 1 students in the UK, preferably in a prep or independent school setting.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
• Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain a structured learning environment.
