Job descriptionProspero Teaching are looking to appoint an excellent Primary School Teacher in a thriving primary school in Southampton. At Prospero, we are passionate about fostering a love for learning and providing a nurturing environment for both pupils and staff.About the Role:As a Primary School Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Differentiate teaching to cater to the diverse learning needs of all pupils, ensuring progress for every child.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages personal development and academic success.
- Regularly assess pupil’s progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching strategies as needed.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for students.
- Uphold high expectations for behaviour, learning, and personal growth within the classroom.
Location – SouthamptonPosition – Primary School Teacher

Rate of pay – From £125 per day
Hours – 8:15am – 4:00pm (hours may vary)
Essential & Desirable Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (Essential)
- Experience of working within a similar role (desirable)
- Evidence of, and commitment to, continuing professional development (desirable)
- A relevant degree or higher degree qualification (desirable)
To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:
- Hold right to work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide references upon request
- Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
