Are you an experienced and motivated Year 2/3 teacher seeking for a new position? Step Teachers are working with a “Good” Ofsted-rated primary school in Barnet to locate a Year 2/3 Teacher to join their team on a long-term (supply) basis beginning in September 2024. This school promotes a culture of respect, honesty, friendship, ambition, collaboration, and persistence. Those were picked by the pupils and are integrated into many aspects of their educational life.Year 2/3 Teacher – Role:

  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons to Key Stage 1/2 pupils, following a pre-planned lesson structure provided by the school.
  • Maintain a well-organized classroom environment and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment.
  • The Year 2/3 Teacher must collaborate effectively with colleagues across the school to support student learning and development.
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and monitor their academic growth.
  • Ensure compliance with the school’s policies and contribute to maintaining a positive and safe educational atmosphere.

Year 2/3 Teacher – Requirements:

  • Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification.
  • Possess a strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1/2 curriculum.
  • Have recent experience as a Year 2/3 Teacher in a primary school setting.
  • Demonstrate effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Year 2/3 Teacher must assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and monitor their academic growth.
