Role: Primary Supply TeacherLocation: Aylesbury (Buckinghamshire)Full time / Part timeStart: May 2024Are you passionate about education and eager to make a positive impact on young minds? We are seeking dynamic and enthusiastic Primary School Supply Teachers to join our team in the Aylesbury (Buckinghamshire) area. As a supply teacher, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity in education by covering short-term absences, supporting classroom learning, and fostering a positive learning environment.Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and interactive lessons across a range of subjects to primary school students
• Follow lesson plans provided by the school or create your own plans when necessary, ensuring they align with the curriculum objectives and students’ learning needs
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting a safe and respectful learning environment
• Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic progress and personal development
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth transitions and continuity in learning during teacher absences
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, behaviour, and academic performance
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other professional development activities as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
• Proven experience working with primary school-aged children
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to different teaching environments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing school environment
• Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance or willingness to obtain one
• Availability to work on short notice and willingness to travel to different schools within the area
