Job Description

We seek an individual with hands-on experience in assessing nature and landscapes, developing
strategies, designing solutions, delivering projects, nurturing customer relationships,
fostering partnerships, and leading a team. 

Additionally, an entrepreneurial flair and a desire for direct ownership in building something
great are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop organisational strategies and action plans focused on nature, biodiversity, green
    infrastructure, and green spaces.
  • Coordinate assessments, derive baselines, and recommend nature-based solutions.
  • Develop bespoke guidance for the evaluation, design, implementation and monitoring of
    enhanced habitats and landscapes.
  • Coordinate workshops and working groups to gain insights and deliver training.
  • Manage and coordinate a team of partnering consultants.
  • Over time, develop and manage a team of colleagues.
  • Identify opportunities to support existing customers and onboard new exciting partnerships.
  • Represent the organisation and the sector, collaborating to reinforce and develop best
    practice standards and tools.

Ideal Attributes

  • Minimum of 3 years in a consultancy capacity aligned with biodiversity and/or green
    infrastructure.
  • Experience in leading and developing a successful team.
  • Experience in developing and communicating strategies and action plans.
  • Experience in coordinating field-based assessments and consolidating robust reports.
  • Good working knowledge of Biodiversity Net Gain and nature-related disclosure frameworks.
  • A drive to safeguard and further develop good working practices.
  • Working knowledge of GIS systems would be beneficial, but not essential.
