These will be novel, exciting pieces of work that help shape the energy systems of the future. As a technical leader, you’ll contribute your expertise to consulting projects, presenting complex solutions in a comprehensible manner to diverse audiences. You’ll propose and manage project timelines, scope, and budgets while mentoring and supporting your team members’ growth. You’ll collaborate across geographical and functional boundaries to develop integrated solutions, fostering an environment of innovation and best practices. Promoting cutting-edge technological solutions that benefit both our clients and PSC will be part of your daily routine. You’ll also play a crucial role in achieving our revenue and sales targets by identifying new opportunities and networking with industry contacts.About us:We are specialist consultants to the energy industry, supporting a diverse group of clients across Europe and the Middle East. The team:Our Regulatory & Strategic Advisory team covers three main areas:

  • Market and Regulatory Advise;
  • Strategic Consulting;
  • Complex and Bespoke Studies

Alongside our Power Networks teams, we work on utility change management, structural reform and strategic studies. Our expertise extends to ancillary services provision, technical feasibility studies, and long-term energy planning to support sustainable energy initiatives. We’re developing and implementing technical regulations that balance the interests of various stakeholders and facilitate the transition to a low-carbon future.You:

  • Deep understanding of the technical, commercial, and regulatory aspects of the power sector, with the ability to advise on strategic issues such as market design, renewable integration, grid modernisation, and decarbonisation.
  • At least 10 years of experience in regulation and Strategic Advisory, including asset management, utility regulation, and corporate technical deals.
  • Extensive experience working with utilities and regulators, and expertise in developing and implementing technical regulations.
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects and deliver high-quality solutions for clients.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Proven experience in developing new business areas and creating market opportunities.
  • Track record of winning and retaining work in the UK, and ideally the Middle East.
  • Growth mindset, with a drive for continuous improvement.
  • Passion for mentoring and coaching, with a keen interest in helping others succeed.
  • Strong emotional intelligence, with the willingness to be vulnerable and the courage to lead.
  • Strong interest in academia, technical, and thought leadership.
  • Minimum qualification of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
