  • PhD or equivalent in a science or healthcare-related discipline plus relevant professional experience
  • The ability to work at the interface of healthcare, research and education
  • Experience of clinical guidance development and implementation
  • Experience of working in an educationally focused environment
  • Experience of working collaboratively and flexibly within in a team, as well as with a range of stakeholders from health, education, academia and the public
  • High level professional communication, negotiating and consensus-building skills at a senior level, with the ability to communicate sensitive and complex information
  • Ability to develop creative solutions to solve complex problems
  • Understanding of the key factors and practices essential to high-quality learning and education
  • Demonstrate honesty, integrity, care and compassion when dealing with others, utilising tact and persuasion skills when necessary
  • Ability to lead and grow successful teams
