Job Description:

The purpose of this position is to perform the role of a lead engineering technician on a large, complex task force. This requires comprehensive knowledge of multiple engineering disciplines.

• Perform diverse and complex engineering assignments including, but not limited to space planning, mobilizations, action items, producing data sheets, and drafting engineering specifications and standards

• Interface with other discipline technicians to provide complete engineering support

• Develop procedure to track status on engineering progress

• Generate and process forms for the distribution of electronic engineering documents

• Establish and apply documentation standards for Flow Diagram Change Notices (FDCN) workflow procedures

• Develop logs to track project deviations

• Assist with progress reporting via EZTrac and preparation of weekly and monthly status reports

Perform diverse and complex administrative and technical duties as needed to support the Lead

Process Engineer and Process team’s activities on a project

• Coordinate and train other Process engineering technicians on work processes

• Interview candidates for technician positions

• Create process procedures and documentation, recognize and forward important information

for group/individual engineers,

• Assist with back checking Process generated drawings

• Maintain drawing log and interface with graphics personnel

• Understand and execute Process standards and procedures. Monitor team compliance.

• Generate and support Process project file organization.

• Maintain good client relationships

• Understand and execute Process requirements for project closeout

• Develop various skills through available training
